Season is already here and we have lots of snow. All our staff guys has started working, what makes our life a bit easier :) We have real international feeling going on....and the guys are really into the dog world.
Autumn training went good all young dogs were eager to go from the start on.
Puppies are getting bigger.... I mean big.
I´ll need to post some new photos. Our local vet asked when we took puppies to get their first vaccination : "are you sure they are different dogs you bring" meaning they all look so similar body and look ways :)
I´ll tell Ali to post some racing plans, what we´ll take part. I would like to go back to Pasvik, it was so nice organized race :)

First Snow & Training
So we started the proper training today. Unlike last year when we left from the kennel with the quad, this year we load the dogs in the van and drive to a close-by forest road then have the dogs pull the van. We took 24 dogs in the van and had 12 dogs run 9km then swapped them over and ran back 9km. That was our test run. Tomorrow we take 40 and run 20 dog teams. Still have to see if it is better(or at least the same) as using the quad last year. Definately warmer and dryer for the musher! I will of course take out my core racing dogs with the quad when they need some extra training.
AND to top off our first day training, we had our first snowfall of the year! Melted after 10 minutes but hey, it's the 1st September......

Aug 25, 2008
What better way to launch our new blog than with the news of our new litter born 20th August!
Our fastest and most promising female (Taiga) was bred with Jeff King's 5 times Iditarod Leader, Rumba (photo right)
Thanks to Mats Pettersson in Kiruna, Sweden for letting us use Rumba
Taiga and her 6 boys and 2 girls are all doing well.
I will post some photos when they are a bit older.
We start quad training tomorrow so the season has allready started. I'll be posting training and kennel news and how the dogs are doing for the coming races.
